The Equity Capital Markets Group (ECM, New Issues Department) at IPC Securities Corporation provides services to its clients and retail advisors in corporate finance, retail and institutional syndication, mergers and acquisitions, and market intelligence. ECM provides support in the origination of primary market transactions and manages their structuring, syndication, marketing and distribution.

Over the past year, the ECM group of IPC Securities Corporation has participated as part of the underwriting group of new issues totaling in excess of one billion dollars. We underwrite quality offerings with various types of structures. We primarily focus on structured products that consist of portfolios focused on fixed income securities (preferred shares, mortgage backed securities, corporate and government bonds, and corporate loans), income trusts (resource, business or real estate), and flow through shares (oil & gas and mining). As well, we are very selective in the underwriting or private placements of junior companies in the technology, biotech or resource sectors.
